A 24-week Fall 2026 research internship on the Video Algorithms team at Netflix focused on Gaussian Splatting compression and novel-view synthesis for streaming. The role involves investigating compression strategies, trade-offs between size/training-time/quality, experiments to reduce encoding time, and building a proof-of-concept GS rendering pipeline. The position requires strong software engineering and machine learning skills and is publish-adjacent research work embedded with the Netflix Video Algorithms group. Eligibility
