MEXT Scholarship Guide

The MEXT Scholarship is a fully funded government scholarship that enables international students to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees in Japan. It is administered by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and covers tuition, provides a monthly stipend, and includes travel expenses. The program offers multiple categories, including undergraduate, research (master’s/PhD), teacher training, and other specialized tracks.
