Government of Slovak Republic Bilateral Scholarships 2026

The Government of the Slovak Republic Bilateral Scholarships 2026 offers fully funded short-term study or research stays in Slovakia for international students, researchers, and university teachers. The programme provides monthly stipends and access to Slovak institutions for 1–10 months, aiming to foster academic exchange and collaboration. It targets Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students, university teachers, and researchers from eligible countries with bilateral agreements with Slovakia.

Applicants must be nominated by the competent authority in their home country. Available to Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students, university teachers, and researchers from countries with bilateral agreements with Slovakia.

Submit the application via the Ministry of Education’s scholarship portal and have your application nominated by the competent national authority by 1 April 2026.
