Bilateral Scholarships Programme (Academic Year 2026/2027)

The Bilateral Scholarships programme of Croatia offers funded study and research placements to international students, academics and researchers across all disciplines for the academic year 2026/2027. Awards cover a range of mobility options from short research visits to full undergraduate and graduate degree funding up to four years, including language study and doctoral programs, with mobility beginning in October 2026 and running through September 2027.

Funded study and research placements across disciplines, including language study, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes, and postdoctoral research stays.

Open to international students, academics and researchers from partner countries; two pools with different nomination requirements.

Applications are submitted online through the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes’ system; nomination may be required by national authorities for Pool 1, while Pool 2 requires a recommendation from a Croatian language professor.
