AFS Global Virtual Teacher Training 2026

AFS Intercultural Programs invites high school educators from around the world to apply for an 8-month virtual professional development program. Participants will work toward earning the AFS Global Competence Certificate and receive resources such as the Global Up Educators program, an Educator Toolkit, and opportunities for international recognition through the Cyril Taylor Young Leaders Awards.

Global Up Educators 6-week virtual learning certification; Educator Toolkit; self-reflection tools; connection with a global community; international recognition for a student social impact project via the Cyril Taylor Young Leaders Awards.

Applicants must currently teach high school (secondary) students aged 14–18 and be proficient in English for discussions (materials also available in Spanish).
