AAUW American Doctoral Fellowship 2027

The AAUW American Doctoral Fellowship 2027 offers a $25,000 stipend for one academic year to women pursuing their first doctoral degree. The fellowship is designed to support doctoral candidates in completing their research, writing, data collection, or related academic work in any field. Awards are part of AAUW’s longstanding Fellowships & Grants program.

Stipend of $25,000 for one year to offset doctoral expenses; two installments during the fellowship year.

Open to women pursuing their first doctoral degree who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who must begin their doctoral program by September 30, 2027.
