The JSPS International Fellowships for Research in Japan 2027–2028 is a government-backed funded research mobility programme that brings global researchers to Japanese universities and research institutes. It offers a postdoctoral track with up to two years of funded research in Japan, including a monthly stipend, airfare, and additional allowances, for collaborations across all disciplines. Applicants must secure a host researcher in Japan and hold a PhD (or expect to obtain one) within the last six years.
