DAAD-BIDS Scholarships 2026

The DAAD-BIDS Scholarships 2026 is a funded scholarship cycle for graduates of German schools abroad to pursue an undergraduate degree at TU Dresden. It provides a monthly stipend of €450 for twelve months as a living-cost subsidy, with undergraduate tuition at TU Dresden remaining free. Applicants must be graduates of DAS, DSD, or DPS institutions in five Eastern European countries and intend to study an undergraduate programme at TU Dresden, with a preference for STEM fields.

Monthly living stipend for one year; access to TU Dresden undergraduate programmes (tuition is free).

Open to graduates of German schools abroad in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic who hold a school-leaving qualification recognized for direct university entrance in Germany and who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at TU Dresden.

Submit TU Dresden undergraduate admission application via uni-assist or SELMA portal, and separately submit the DAAD-BIDS scholarship application with required documents by the deadline.
