SSF Industrial Doctoral Studentship 2026

The SSF Industrial Doctoral Studentship 2026 offers fully funded industrial PhD positions in Sweden, with a total investment of 39 million SEK for 12 doctoral projects. Each project provides structured collaboration between a Swedish higher education institution and a partner company, supervised by both an academic and an industry supervisor. The program targets research within natural sciences, technology, and medicine, and candidates begin their doctoral studies between January 1 and June 30, 2027.

New doctoral candidates who have not yet been admitted to postgraduate education at the time of application, must be employed by a company at least 80% during the grant period, and must be affiliated with a Swedish higher education institution.
