ICTP Postgraduate Diploma Programme 2026–2027

The ICTP Postgraduate Diploma Programme 2026–2027 is a one-year, fully funded diploma designed to prepare graduates from developing countries for direct entry into competitive PhD programs worldwide. It offers five advanced scientific streams, two semesters of coursework, followed by a supervised research project and dissertation. Selected scholars receive travel and living expenses coverage and full access to ICTP’s research environment to support doctoral admissions.

Graduates in physics or mathematics from developing countries, with strong academic performance, fluent in English, and able to pursue a PhD pathway.
