University of Texas Press Fellowship Program 2026–2027

The University of Texas Press Fellowship Program 2026–2027 is a fully funded, paid publishing fellowship offering hands-on training in editing, production, acquisitions, marketing, and rights management within a university press. It provides a structured year-long experience starting September 2026, with professional development opportunities and conference exposure. Selected fellows receive a substantial annual stipend and health insurance support, plus access to campus resources and career guidance in publishing.

Full-time paid position with professional publishing training, conference attendance, health insurance allowance, access to university resources, and career guidance and job placement support.

Open to graduates; Rights & Permissions and Acquisitions Fellowship is open only to UT Austin alumni, while Marketing and EDP Fellowship is open to graduates of any recognized university; applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a publishing career and be able to work full-time in person.
