The Travelling Doctoral Studentships 2026 offer fully funded support for doctoral researchers to undertake substantial overseas research as part of their PhD, with the aim of expanding international collaboration and returning to strengthen Ireland’s research community. The scheme provides combined funding for living costs, tuition support, and university-level research opportunities abroad, up to a defined annual maximum.
