Information

The Raising Voices Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded programme for writers and illustrators of children’s and young adult literature. It offers mentorship, editorial or art-direction feedback, a week-long residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, and opportunities for publication and professional development within Ireland’s literary ecosystem. Fellows gain access to a national showcase, networking with partner organisations, and ongoing support to move from creative work to publication.

Eligibility

Applicants must create work for children or young people, work in English or Gaeilge, have a complete manuscript or outlined book, identify as coming from an underrepresented background in children’s and YA publishing, have not yet been published or secured a contract, and reside permanently in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
