Melton Foundation Global Citizenship Video Essay Competition 2025

Open to young African changemakers aged 18-30 to submit video essays on how UN SDGs can be harnessed to build a better future for Africa, under three themes related to reimagining Africa, cross-border collaboration, and African youth as global citizens. Winners receive a 250 USD gift card, a certificate, and recognition on the Melton Foundation platform and social channels.

Gift card prize (USD 250 for winners), certificate of achievement, video featured on the Foundation’s website and social media, and recognition as a Global Citizen.

Open to young African changemakers aged 18-30 who are residing in and originally from an African country; submissions must be individual.

Submit an original video essay (formats MP4, MOV, or AVI) via the official apply link; ensure it aligns with one of the three SDG-themed prompts and is your own work.
