Board election to the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL)

The SYL Board election is a competitive process to elect six board members and the President to the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL) for 2025. Delegates elected by student unions vote on the Board at the General Assembly, and candidates are nominated by delegates with voting rights. The position is full-time work and includes monthly compensation for board members and additional bonuses for the President and Vice President.

Delegates elected by student unions vote on the Board; board work is full-time and requires living in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

Nominations are made by student unions and candidates participate in presentations and interviews as announced on SYL’s site.
