EJN Seed Grants for Media Outlets to Cover Natural Resource Management and Green Growth in Nepal 2025

Earth Journalism Network is offering six grants averaging 4,500 euros each to media outlets in Nepal to support new media programming on natural resource management and green growth. The grants aim to strengthen media capacity to provide innovative, solutions-oriented information to the public and policymakers, with each selected outlet expected to design and pilot a new program and produce at least two stories or episodes as proof of concept. Recipients will receive additional mentorship from a senior journalist or subject-matter expert during the grant period.

Financial grant (approx. 4,500 euros per grant) and mentorship from a senior journalist or subject-matter expert during the grant period.

Media outlets in Nepal—including newspapers, online media, radio, television, multimedia platforms, and social media channels—may apply.

Submit a proposal for a new media programming idea on the specified themes, including production of at least two episodes or stories; applications must be in English or Nepali.
