About this opportunity
The Canon Collins RMTF Scholarships for Postgraduate Study 2026 provides funding for postgraduate study in South Africa for exceptional individuals committed to social justice in southern Africa. The scholarships cover Masters and PhD study in three focus areas: Justice (including Climate Justice, Law, Economics and Politics), Education policy and practice, and Humanities (including Literature, History, Anthropology and the Arts). The programme also includes participation in an annual scholars conference and related events.

Eligibility
Applicants must be a national of, or have refugee status in, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland (Eswatini), or Zambia; normally resident in one of these countries; possess a good first degree or be about to graduate; and be studying or applying to study at a South African university.
