The CAPES-Humboldt Research Fellowship supports postdoctoral researchers and experienced researchers from Brazil to conduct research in Germany. It is a funded sponsorship with a structured stipend and additional benefits, along with language preparation and alumni opportunities.

Eligibility

You must be a Brazilian national or have permanent resident status in Brazil; German nationals may apply if they have lived in Brazil for at least five years. Applicants must be resident in Brazil and have lived outside Germany for at least 12 of the last 18 months.

Application

Submit required documents via the application form and host statements on the Humboldt Foundation site; preparation includes CV, research outline, publications list, certificates, and language documents.
