AMWAJ Fellowship Programme for Journalists 2025

The AMWAJ Fellowship Programme for Journalists offers a stipend and support for young professional journalists to develop reporting on sustainability topics. It provides mentoring from the AMWAJ team, publication opportunities, and travel/accommodation costs for approved reporting expenses. Selected fellows have their work published across AMWAJ channels and related outlets, with a profile on the Fellowship page.

Stipend of 4,000 euros, travel and accommodation coverage for approved expenses, mentoring, publication of work, and a professional profile on the Fellowship page.

Open to young professional journalists (less than 5 years of experience) from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries.

Prepare a 1-page story pitch with topic, format (article/video/podcast), and links to previous work; submit via the online application form with personal and professional details.
