Lisa Page Literary Education Fellowship 2025

The Lisa Page Literary Education Fellowship 2025 is a funded, one-year, part-time teaching and literary engagement fellowship in Washington, DC. It invites fiction writers to work with public schools to promote reading and writing, with responsibilities including planning sessions, workshops, and author visits as part of PEN/Faulkner’s Education Programs. The fellowship aims to foster civic discourse and empathy through storytelling and literacy.

Stipend of $30,000 per year; health, dental, and vision benefits; retirement plan with 5% employer contribution; free admission to PEN/Faulkner’s literary events; paid time off and holidays; sick leave.

Fiction authors with teaching expertise and a genuine desire to work with young students in grades 3–12 are eligible to apply.
