L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science National Fellowships (Africa)

The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science National Fellowships (Africa) are national-level grants that support women scientists at the PhD or postdoctoral stage in individual African countries. Local competitions are managed by national commissions and L'Oréal country representatives. Grants are awarded to support research and may provide financial support for tuition, living expenses and travel.

Tuition coverage and possibly living expenses and travel costs; national fellowship grants up to $20,000.

Open to women scientists at the PhD or postdoctoral stage from eligible African countries listed by the programme.

Prepare academic transcripts, recommendation letters and a personal statement and submit the application via the official For Women in Science website before the deadline.
