REI Mobility Scholarship (REI scholarships for VUB students)

The REI Mobility Scholarship is a financial support programme managed by the International Relations service of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) to promote academic mobility outside the European Economic Area. It is intended for VUB students planning an outgoing study or internship semester or year at a partner institution. The scholarship provides modular financial aid to help cover transport and living costs and can include tuition exemption at the partner university under bilateral agreements.

Monthly living allowance, contribution to international travel costs, tuition exemption at partner university (where bilateral agreements apply).

Applicants must be regularly enrolled full-time students at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in a Bachelor's or Master's cycle, have validated at least 60 ECTS in their current curriculum before departure, and hold an official acceptance for a study stay or internship at a partner university outside Europe.

Submit an online application via the university's internal mobility portal during the calls for applications; dossiers are evaluated by an internal committee based on academic merit and motivation.
