Global Initiative on Information Integrity on Climate Change

The Global Initiative on Information Integrity on Climate Change is a UNESCO-led funding call that supports NGOs, research institutes, universities and investigative media to develop projects aimed at improving the reliability of information on climate change. Grants range from 30,000 to 150,000 USD per project, with an open call deadline of 2025-07-06. Successful projects will join a global interdisciplinary network and produce actionable recommendations to counter climate misinformation.

Access to a global, interdisciplinary network; development of operational recommendations; increased international visibility for the project.

Non-profit organizations, research institutes, universities, and investigative media partnerships registered for at least two years are eligible; applications may be submitted in English, French or Spanish; preference given to organizations from the Global South.

No fees are required.
