The English online scholarships are a free online course programme for learning English, offering up to 10,000 places with a second-selection for 1,500 participants. The courses cover levels from A1 to C1 and provide a certificate of participation on completion. The programme is run by Banco Santander in partnership with British Council and is accessible to residents of nine eligible countries.

Access to online English course content (A1–C1), live sessions for top participants, and a certificate of participation/completion issued by British Council.

Residents of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, United States, Mexico, Peru or Uruguay; at least 18 years old; no university degree required.
