About this opportunity
The Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award is an annual competition for journalists aged 30 and under from developing countries to submit a portfolio of published or broadcast work. Entrants can submit work in any format, including print, audio, video, or multimedia, and must provide an English translation where needed.
Benefits & funding
The three finalists are flown to London to attend the gala award night in London, with participants among other award winners and leaders in journalism.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 30 years of age or under on 24 November 2025.
