The AIR New Voices Public Radio Fellowship is a funded professional development program for mid-career public radio reporters, hosts, producers, and editors. It runs for eight weeks and includes mentorship, online workshops, and a capstone project with a final pitch to a panel of decision-makers, culminating in potential opportunities within NPR and member stations. The program targets individuals working in or aspiring to work in public media in the United States and includes a stipend and mentoring components.

Eligibility

Open to individuals who are 18 or older, based in the U.S., currently work in public media or have prior public media experience, are mid-career and seeking mentorship and training, have produced, edited or pitched stories before, and come from historically marginalized and/or underrepresented communities.
