African Union “AU Go Gal!” Innovation Initiative 2025

The AU Go Gal! Innovation Initiative is a NextGen challenge for young African women (aged 15–25) to develop digital and innovative solutions addressing socioeconomic challenges, with a focus on women’s financial and economic inclusion and girls’ education. The program selects 20 participants from the continent, links them with mentors, and provides recognition or support to finalists.

Participants are linked to mentors and industry connections; 5 finalists will receive support and recognition

Young African women aged 15–25 who are citizens of an African Union member state residing on the continent; applicants should present an original and scalable digital or innovative solution in the area of Youth Financial and Economic Inclusion or girls’ education.
