Western Union Global Fellowship Program 2025

The Western Union Global Fellowship Program is a fully funded, 16-week virtual fellowship designed for individuals who are from and/or working with refugee or highly marginalized communities worldwide. The program provides live virtual training, mentorship, a financial stipend, and support to launch a local community-based project, along with access to a global network of alumni and opportunities.

Applicants should have been working to impact refugee and/or highly marginalized communities for 1-3 years, have a small team of support, and show some impact; they must be operating in one of the listed countries.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with a priority deadline of July 1, 2025; details are available via the Watson Institute.
