2027 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Fellowship

The 2027 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship is a fully funded entrepreneurship programme for emerging entrepreneurs from participating countries in the Western Hemisphere. It combines virtual training, leadership development, mentorship, networking, and a four-week professional placement with a U.S. business partner, plus orientation, market immersion, and a closing forum. Fellows receive comprehensive financial support including travel, housing, visa assistance, and program activities, with no application fee.

Open to young entrepreneurs from participating countries in Latin America and the Caribbean who have a track record of growing a for-profit business for at least two years, are between 25 and 35 years old by January 1, 2027, hold citizenship and residency in a participating country, meet English-language requirements, and are eligible for a U.S. J-1 visa.
