UCC Sanctuary Scholarship

The UCC Sanctuary Scholarship is a partial funding program for undergraduate study at University College Cork, offering tuition fee relief and assistance with securing university accommodation for students who are asylum seekers, refugees, or otherwise granted international protection in Ireland. It focuses on enabling access to a full-time Bachelor’s program at UCC by providing financial support and housing assistance, complemented by personalized support from the UCC Cares team and the International Student Office.

Full tuition remission for the Bachelor’s program; assistance in securing a place in UCC on-campus accommodation; additional guidance and student support from UCC Cares and the International Student Office.

Applicants must be in Ireland under international protection categories (asylum seeker, refugee, subsidiary protection, or leave to remain) and must have applied for admission to a full-time Bachelor’s program at UCC via the CAO, meeting the academic requirements for the chosen program.
