NRC 2025 Innovation Call for Green Business SMEs in Borno State

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is launching an Innovation Call to identify and support three SMEs in Nigeria operating in the green economy (green agriculture, green energy, and green waste management). Selected SMEs will receive financial support to start or expand their businesses, along with capacity-building and mentorship, networking opportunities, and business visibility with key stakeholders. The call targets legally registered Nigerian SMEs with a presence in MMC and Jere LGAs, focusing on sustainable, climate-adaptive business models and potential for growth and employment creation.

SMEs must be legally registered in Nigeria with a presence in MMC and Jere LGAs, and have 1–3 years of experience in a green sector; preference for women-led or youth-focused SMEs and those committed to inclusivity.
