Information

The Max Planck Society and the Weizmann Institute of Science offer a joint postdoctoral program aimed at talented researchers to engage in interdisciplinary research across both institutions. Fellows receive substantial institutional support, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and an international research network. The program supports research spanning multiple scientific fields and fosters collaboration between Germany and Israel.

Eligibility

Applicants must begin the program within four years of completing their PhD or MD (the earlier of the two in case of candidates with both degrees). Current WIS postdocs are eligible to apply, but must commence the program before the end of their first year at WIS.

Application

Prepare a detailed CV, letters of recommendation (at least three; one from PhD advisor), and a research statement outlining the joint project plan. Coordinate with MPG and WIS hosts for the letter submissions and follow the application instructions provided by the MPG-WIS program.
