S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion Open Call for Artistic Residencies 2025

S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion announces an interdisciplinary residency programme dedicated to innovative water management through the collaboration of science, technology and arts. The residency supports artists to develop outputs such as installations, performances or prototypes over a 9-month period, with a subsequent 4-month scale-up phase, engaging with partners in Europe to address regional water challenges.

EUR 40,000 budget per residency; access to specialised resources and facilities; individual mentoring; cross-sector guidance within a 5-Helix network; access to the S+T+ARTS network with workshops and networking; opportunities to present outputs at major events.

Open to artists of any nationality with at least 5 years of artistic practice and a portfolio, who are independent of AQUA MOTION consortium partners.
