The Eastern Course 2026: Summer Academy for Central and Eastern European Journalists is a three-week summer program offered by the Institute for Journalism Education (IFP) for young German-speaking journalists from Central and Eastern Europe. The program in Munich covers core journalistic styles such as news/reports, interviews and articles, information gathering online (fact-checking) and mobile reporting, with a studio-based interview technique training in the third week.

Young journalists from Central and Eastern Europe who speak German.
