SSM Seminar for Central and Eastern European Journalists

The SSM Seminar is a funded program organized for journalists from Central and Eastern Europe, enabling participants to study and exchange knowledge about TV, radio, print, and online media within Germany’s dual media system. The seminar runs in Leipzig for a period of about two weeks, focusing on media structures, professional practices, and cross-regional cultural exchange. The Saxony Media Education Foundation covers travel, meals, and accommodation for selected journalists.

Central and Eastern European journalists aged 40 or under at the time of application, with media work experience and good knowledge of German.
