A*Star International Fellowship

The A*Star International Fellowship is a prestigious scholarship that supports early-career researchers to pursue up to two years of overseas postdoctoral training in leading overseas universities, research institutions or deep-tech startup environments. It aims to develop global-ready researchers who will contribute to Singapore's R&D ecosystem after the fellowship. The program is offered by A*STAR and covers post-doctoral research training in Singapore with emphasis on advanced scientific capacities across multiple disciplines.

Overseas living and sustenance allowances, return airfare, settling-in allowance, computer and book allowances, conference allowance, personal insurance, and program funding for up to two years.

Applicants must have completed a PhD within the last four years, be proficient in English, and have applied or be applying for a relevant post-doctoral position at a top overseas university/laboratory.
