UPM International Graduate Student Scholarship

The UPM International Graduate Student Scholarship is a partially funded PhD scholarship at Universiti Putra Malaysia offering a tuition-fee waiver of 30% to 50% for up to three years for international doctoral students. It targets new and first-semester PhD entrants from selected regions with strong academic records and research potential, requiring the support of a UPM supervisor. The program enables recipients to conduct doctoral research at UPM with access to supervisors, laboratories and facilities.

International PhD applicants from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, who meet UPM's general admission requirements and have the support of a supervisor.

Submit an online application through the official UPM IGSS page and obtain endorsements from the relevant supervisor and faculty as required.
