VU Fellowship Netherlands 2027

The VU Fellowship Programme is a merit-based scholarship for non-EU/EEA students to pursue a full-time English-taught master’s degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The fellowship is awarded to highly motivated and academically excellent students and covers tuition fees; it can be combined with the NL Scholarship, which may provide €5,000 or €10,000 as a contribution toward living costs for selected students. Applicants must first be admitted to a qualifying master’s program before applying for the fellowship.

Tuition fee coverage; potential additional NL Scholarship for living costs (first year only).

Applicants must hold a non-EU/EEA passport and must be admitted to the first year of a full-time English-taught master’s program at VU Amsterdam starting in September 2027.

Apply for a qualifying master’s program at VU Amsterdam, obtain conditional/unconditional admission, then submit the VU Fellowship NLS application form with required documents by the stated deadline.
