Leadership for Africa (LFA) Scholarship

The Leadership for Africa (LFA) Scholarship is a fully funded master’s scholarship funded by DAAD for young refugees and national scholars from Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Uganda to pursue a master's degree at German universities. It includes a language preparatory phase, a monthly stipend, insurance, travel and study allowances, and additional program-related benefits.

Language course (up to 6 months) in Germany, monthly stipend, health/accident/personal liability insurance, travel allowance, yearly study allowance, and potential housing/subsidies.

Eligible applicants are young refugees and national scholars from Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Uganda who have completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue a master’s degree in Germany.
