The UNITAR Women’s Leadership in Disaster Risk Reduction Training Programme for World Tsunami Awareness Day 2026 is a fully funded capacity-building programme designed to develop women’s leadership in disaster risk reduction across the Asia-Pacific and Pacific Island regions. It comprises online learning (Phase I) and two subsequent in-person/online components (Phase II) for top performers, culminating in a UNITAR Certificate of Completion upon fulfilling all requirements. The initiative aims to equip participants with DRR knowledge, inclusive leadership skills, and practical plans for community resilience.
