Information
Frontiers of Condensed Matter is a doctoral training school offering high-level instruction in condensed matter physics for advanced master's students and early-stage PhD candidates. The program provides broad introductions to key concepts and topics such as quantum transport, quantum materials, superconductivity, topological phases, cQED, open quantum systems and quantum device physics. The school combines main lectures with pedagogical seminars and prioritises very junior candidates to facilitate early research entry and network building.
Benefits
High-level lectures and pedagogical seminars in condensed matter physics; topical coverage across quantum transport, quantum materials, superconductivity, topological phases, cQED, open quantum systems and quantum device physics; opportunities for networking and early research community entry.
Eligibility
Final-year master's students and junior PhD students (1st/2nd year).
