Information

The European Chemicals Agency offers up to 20 traineeship opportunities in scientific fields such as chemistry, toxicology, biology and environmental science, as well as in administrative duties. Trainees are engaged in six-month placements, typically commencing in March or September, and may receive a grant. A limited number of non-member-state nationals may also be accepted depending on budgetary resources and capacity to host them.

Benefits

Trainees receive a grant; some may be eligible for a partial grant to top up income; insurance cover is noted in the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

Be national of a Member State of the EU or an EEA national; communicate in English; have obtained a university degree or be engaged in graduate-level work in relevant fields; sickness and accident insurance cover valid in Finland prior to starting the traineeship.
