OIST Internship Program 2027 in Japan

The OIST Internship Program 2027 in Japan offers a fully funded research internship at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. It is open to undergraduate and master’s students from around the world and provides hands-on research experience under supervision in a world-class environment. The program runs for 3 to 6 months, from April 1, 2027 to September 30, 2027, with funding that covers travel, accommodation, stipend, and visa support.

Round-trip airfare, free furnished accommodation, internship allowance, visa and administrative support, assistance with obtaining the Certificate of Eligibility, shuttle bus access, and access to advanced laboratories and facilities.

Eligible applicants are international undergraduate and master’s students.

Applicants need to submit academic transcripts, degree certificate or enrollment certificate, Statement of Purpose, updated CV/Resume, 1-3 recommendation letters, passport copy, photo, and optional English proficiency scores.
