The Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (Thermo Fisher JIC) is a competition for students to explore biomimicry-based engineering concepts. Finalists participate in hands-on design activities, such as building hydraulics-inspired arms based on blue crab anatomy, and present their engineering ideas to judges.
