Arctowski Medal

The Arctowski Medal is awarded biennially to recognize outstanding contributions to the study of solar physics and solar-terrestrial relationships. It includes a prize of $100,000, plus an additional $100,000 to support research in solar physics at the recipient’s institution. The medal was established in 1958 by the bequest of Jane Arctowska in honor of Henryk Arctowski.

Nominations are invited for outstanding contributions in the field of solar physics and solar-terrestrial relationships.
