The Arkansas Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium is an annual event that showcases undergraduate (and some high school) student research in biomedical and health-related fields. Participants present oral and poster presentations, receive feedback from faculty and peers, and network with researchers and program directors. The symposium is organized by the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with support from UAMS partners and external funders.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students and some high school students from colleges, universities and high schools across the United States participated.

Students submitted research abstracts; selected speakers were chosen from submissions (87 submissions with selected oral presenters).
