The UNITAR Youth Ambassador Asia-Pacific Programme is a six-week cohort-based training for young people in the Asia-Pacific region focused on the Sustainable Development Goals, entrepreneurial and innovation skills, and developing community projects. The programme includes online training sessions, mentoring by UNITAR and ITS staff, engagement with experts, and a capstone project to be implemented in participants' communities. Participants who fulfil all requirements receive a UNITAR certificate of completion and present their final projects at a virtual graduation.

Eligibility

Open to young persons over 18 years old residing in the Asia-Pacific region, including university students and early-career professionals; applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old (born on or after 1 January 1996 and on or before 31 December 2007), have good spoken English, relevant community experience and a referee.
