Information

The National Mathematics Competition (NMC) and the National High School Physics Competition (NHSPC) are in-person, grade-based contests organised for K-12 and college-level youth. Both competitions take place on April 18, 2026, with separate time slots for physics and mathematics. Top-scoring NMC participants will be invited to the Hanwha Math Olympiad (HMO) in May 2026. Each grade category awards cash prizes among top performers.

Benefits

Cash prizes totaling $1,000 distributed among the top three performers in each grade category; top-scoring NMC participants invited to the Hanwha Math Olympiad (HMO), whose awards include scholarships for up to 10 students.

Eligibility

Youth program for K-12 and college; Math competition open to students in Grades 4–11, Physics competition open to students in Grades 9–12. Registration is done via local KSEA chapters.
