UNESCO MAB Young Scientists Awards 2025

The UNESCO Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Young Scientists Awards 2025 offers young researchers up to US$5,000 to facilitate interdisciplinary research within biosphere reserves, aligning with UNESCO objectives and the Lima Action Plan and SDGs. The awards are intended for applicants who are 35 years old or younger at the application closing date and require endorsement from their country’s MAB National Committee or National Commission for UNESCO in countries without an operational committee.

Up to US$5,000 prize to support interdisciplinary research within biosphere reserves.

Applicants must be 35 years old or younger at the application closing date, submit the form available in English and French, and obtain endorsement from their country’s MAB National Committee or National Commission for UNESCO.
