WCSJ2027 Travel Fellowship

The WCSJ2027 Travel Fellowship provides financial support to enable selected journalists, media professionals and eligible students to attend the World Conference of Science Journalists 2027 in London. Fellows receive assistance for travel-related expenses, visa costs, limited local transportation and up to six nights of accommodation, as well as full conference registration and event meals. The fellowship aims to broaden international participation, increase diversity in the science journalism community and support applicants who otherwise face financial barriers to attending. The fellowship does not provide a daily per diem.

Coverage of eligible travel-related expenses, visa costs, limited local transportation, up to six nights accommodation, full conference registration, refreshments and lunches during the event.

Open to journalists and media professionals covering science and related fields, journalism students and students studying science journalism or related disciplines, researchers and teachers in journalism/media studies/science communication with an established journalism track record. Applicants should explain motivation, planned knowledge-sharing and current funding situation.
